Brie-Anne Meyer is a pianist, keyboardist, collaborative pianist, and teacher based in Southern Ontario. Equally at home as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral keyboard player and organist, she enjoys a varied musical career that has led her to perform across many settings and styles.

Originally from the Niagara Region, Brie-Anne began studying piano at the age of seven. Throughout her childhood and teenage years, she performed regularly as a solo pianist and with a variety of ensembles, including concert and jazz choirs and bands, and other community music groups. These early experiences fostered a lifelong appreciation for collaborative music-making.

Brie-Anne performs regularly as an orchestral keyboard player. In addition to piano, she has performed on celesta, keyboards, harpsichord, organ and live electronics. She has performed with orchestras including the Oakville Symphony, Burlington Symphony, and the National Academy Orchestra of Canada.

An experienced collaborative pianist, Brie-Anne enjoys working with instrumentalists and singers performing everything from Early Music to Contemporary Styles.  She is also a church organist, performing regularly in Hamilton and the Greater Toronto Area.  Currently she is a collaborative pianist with the Hamilton Children’s Choir.  

Brie-Anne also performs as part of the Meyer & Nunes Piano Duo, frequently featuring programs of 4 hands piano music by women composers. 

As an educator, Brie-Anne is a certified RCM piano and theory teacher for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. She is an active member of the Hamilton-Halton branch of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association (ORMTA). 

In 2010 Brie-Anne earned her MMus from the University of Ottawa under the guidance of Stéphane Lemelin. She previously received her BMus Performance degree from Western University studying with James Anagnoson, and her ARCT in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music.
