Brie-Anne Meyer is a pianist and music educator based in Hamilton, Ontario. With a career spanning various genres and roles within the music industry, Brie-Anne is known for her versatility and passion for music. With multiple degrees in classical piano performance, she has performed as a soloist and collaborator throughout Canada and the US. As a collaborative pianist, Brie-Anne’s repertoire ranges from Baroque Sonatas to Musical Theatre, showcasing her diverse musical abilities. As an organist and harpsichordist, she has performed with choral groups and early music ensembles across Southern Ontario. Brie-Anne has also performed with orchestras in Ontario, including the Oakville Symphony and Burlington’s Symphony on the Bay. Currently, she serves as a collaborative pianist with the Hamilton Children’s Choir. Brie-Anne’s musical journey began at the age of seven in the Niagara Region, where she developed her love for music. She pursued her education in piano performance, earning an ARCT from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Continuing her studies at Western University in London, Ontario, under the guidance of James Anagnoson, she graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance. She then earned a Master’s degree in Music Performance from the University of Ottawa, studying with Stephane Lemelin. Brie-Anne is a dedicated educator, maintaining a full studio of private students. She is an Ontario registered music teacher and an active member of the Hamilton-Halton ORMTA branch. |
